I hadn't visited this restaurant in years but didn't change at all ..... Food - excellent. Service - excellent. Ambiance - pleasant/fine

The food was delicious, as always, and the server, Dawn, was friendly and helpful. Southern food and ambiance makes this a staple whenever I come to Georgia.

First time here and the food was really good! We got the lunch special with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It also came with cornbread and white gravy. The chicken was really good, crunchy and juicy but not too salty! The mashed potatoes were buttery and the green beans were also good but not special. The cornbread wasn't dry compared to many other places and was also pretty good. Overall really loved the food! The service as fast and our waitress was very friendly! The inside has kind of an older diner feel to it, which is comfortable. The only thing was the price, the portions were quite large but it was still $18 for one portion which is a bit on the higher end. The food was really good though, will be back!

The service and the ambiance are great! The food however is a little uneven. Some dishes were outstanding, some were okay and some were almost inedible (too salty). The corn, corn muffin and squash soufflé were delicious. The fried catfish was pretty good. The green beans were too salty and the hush puppies were underwhelming. But I would still go back because overall it's an enjoyable experience. P.S. The pecan pie was amazing..Definitely get it a la mode!

This place is great for a quick get off the highway, eat lunch, and get back on the road. The food is good and filling. We ordered the meatloaf sangawich, soup off the day, salad, and pickle chips. All was good and filling. The service was good. The meal came quick. We were in and out. In all, lunch was good. I would come here again.

OK Cafe is an Atlanta institution. They are always packed for breakfast on the weekends and busy the rest of the time. Pancakes are fluffy and delicious and the grandkids love them. Burgers are also delicious but we often come here for the meat and two or three. I love the salmon patties and my husband loves the meatloaf. Sides are good (don't miss the squash casserole) and they offer a nice selection. Service is friendly and prompt, and the restaurant itself is so cute. We always enjoy our meals here and so does our entire family!

Amazing all around. Didn't know if I would like the meatloaf with creole sauce, but it slaps. The star was the squash soufflé which they also sell so you can take an order home. Baked sweet potato was really good. All around awesome and service was great and fast. There was a 20 minute wait for lunch on a Saturday. But it went by fast and was worth the wait!

Love this restaurant with a classic diner atmosphere, fun decor, friendly & helpful service and always delicious eats! Today was no exception. As always, there was a wait but not for long. My order came quickly! I opted for the 4 vegetable plate, and added the cucumber salad, too. The cucumbers were crisp and fresh - so good. The Brussel sprouts were boiled and lightly seasoned and thoroughly enjoyed. Mashed potatoes, black eyed peas and squash casserole were spot on! Vegetable plates are served with a yummy corn muffin. Can't wait to return!

While for some OK Cafe may be a long established tradition, for others it can be an oddity. An oddity in the sense that it blends into a run of the mill strip mall and despite the substantial signage, it can get overlooked for years while a local is heading down to Canoe or going to grab groceries at Whole Foods. Such is the fate of places that are sitting there, ready to be discovered. Having been opened since 1987 and only having recently removed a confederate flag, OK Cafe is a special place that is undoubtedly a step into a moment from the past. The waitresses are dressed in classic diner attire. Chefs are equipped with white hats and traditional outfits. The attitude of the people is homey and without doubt, loaded with southern hospitality. It's in many ways a quintessential Atlanta place and really, cannot be missed. When it comes to a perfectly prepared country fried steak, this is perhaps the place that gets it as perfect as it can be. Batter that is just crispy enough, not soggy and loaded up with a mixture of flavors that transform this dish into pure magic. The house made biscuit will impress even those who do not like biscuits. And eggs, well, they are cooked as eggs should be without being overcooked or burned. Thus, for any self respecting Atlanta resident, OK Cafe is an absolute must to enjoy a higher quality take on diner classics and observe that what has long passed.
